Recommended Educational Resources
As some of my books are used educationally, I’m providing some recommended educational resources for students, teachers and readers in general.
Recommended WebsitesFor both students and teachers, I’ll be working on Recommended Websites. Portage & Main Press provides a Teacher’s Guide for both April Raintree and In Search of April Raintree, 25th Anniversary Edition, and more information is here. I’ll visit websites and add new relevant websites as I come across them. Aboriginal AuthorsMany Aboriginal authors have written important books, and to further your understanding of the Aboriginal people, I’ve also compiled a list of Recommended Readings. I’ve also included books written by non-Aboriginal authors, as the overall goal is to learn from each other - or to acquire cross-cultural awareness. I’ve included at least one book that you might think is off topic, but I’m into animals and for a very good reason – they teach me. Share your websites or favorite readings with me and I may add them to my future recommendations. Academic PapersProfessors and academics have written numerous Academic Papers on In Search of April Raintree and April Raintree. There are more and I invite you to contact me so I can add them to my list of authors and the titles of their papers.
